2025-26 TSSA Plan
South Cache Middle School 2025-2026
Goal #1
Goal #1: Increase the RISE proficiency score of English Language Learners, Special Education Students, & Hispanic Students in Math, Science, & ELA by 2% while at the same time, increasing the Math, Science, and ELA proficiency scores by 2% for the school as a whole, as measured by comparing the 2025 RISE Assessment to the 2026 RISE assessment.

Measurements:
2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school wide RISE end of level test scores support the need for this academic goal as our most critical academic need. 2025-2026 end of level school wide RISE test scores will be used to quantify student academic progress and success for this year Trustland's plan.
Action Plan:
1. School Support leader to ensure academic and behavioral success of students. Monitor attendance and academic progress of identified high need students populations. ($33,911)
2. We will have collaborative teams meet in the summer to identify essential standards, create pacing guides, create common formative assessments for each essential standard, create a writing plan for their content area, create intervention and re-teaching plans for each unit, and create a plan to ensure success for all students including EL and SPED students. ($20,000)
3. We will meet together with the PLC Leadership team (12 members) each month to discuss the progress of their collaborative teams. We will ensure that each member of their team implements the essential curriculum and provides enrichment, intervention, and extension of learning, focusing on outcomes for all student, EL and & SPED students. ($3,000)
4. We will hire a 29 hour/week math pull-out position to work with at-risk math students one on one or in small groups 1-2 times per week during an elective and during lunches. ($22,511)
5. We will purchase books for our library to help improve the reading and learning levels of our students by purchasing age and Lexile appropriate books. ($5,000)
6. We will purchase "CopyLeaks In" Software to monitor student individual writing work for all students. ($1,956)
7. Will will pay Brittnie to monitor ELL progress in the registrar's office. ($5,330)
8. We will fund our Latinos in Action program to increase academic engagement within our targeted ELL population to meet our proficiency growth goal in science, math and language arts RISE tests. ($5000 - Transportation to schools) ($1500 for program service)
9. We will pay for a 29 hour a week aide for our Refocus program to provide academic support and intervention for students, behavioral support for students not academically engaged in regular classes. ($25,964)
10. We will hire test proctors to effectively support our end of level testing which determines academic progress of all students and supports our proficiency goal in science, math, and language arts RISE tests. ($7,000)

Goal #2: Improve staff and student access to technology and increase their proficiency in 21st century skills through using technology to improve student learning during the 2025-2026 academic school year as measured by comparing RISE scores from 2024-2025 to 2025-2026 and seeing a 2% gain in proficiency school-wide.

- We will purchase Chromebook labs of 40 each. $340 each for a total of $13,600 per cart. Need up to 2 Chromebook carts to replace old machines in support of our learning goal. ($27,200)
- We will purchase Chromebook carts to house the Chromebook labs that support our learning goals. ($1,200)
- We will purchase Google and Go Guardian software and licensing for Chrome books to support our school learning objectives. $79.65 per chrome book. ($6,372)
- We will purchase teacher computers for $927.50 each. Classroom printers @ $284 per printer. Classroom sound systems $1020 per sound system. Computer monitors $247 each. Long throw projectors $611 per projector. TV’s $1,390 per TV, and short throw projectors $1,775 each as needed to update and replace old technology in the classrooms and support our school learning objectives. ($12,609)
- We will purchase Minga Digital Campus Management software to monitor and assign students to remediation classes during the school day in support of our learning goal. ($6,600)
